Provider's Guide to Submitting Prescriptions Online
Step-by-step instructions for healthcare providers on how to register, submit prescriptions, and manage patient orders through the Healthville portal.
This guide walks healthcare providers through every step of using the Healthville Pharmacy provider portal — from initial registration to managing patient prescriptions and accessing wholesale pricing.
Step 1: Register Your Account
Visit healthvillepharmacy.com and click "Sign Up." Select "Provider" as your role and complete the registration form with your professional credentials, including your NPI number and state license information.
Step 2: Verify Your Identity
After registering, our team will verify your credentials within one business day. You will receive an email confirmation once your account is activated and you can begin submitting prescriptions.
Step 3: Navigate the Dashboard
Your provider dashboard gives you a centralized view of: - Active patient prescriptions - Order status tracking - Prescription templates for frequently ordered medications - Invoice history and payment records - Clinic pricing (if associated with a clinic)
Step 4: Submit a New Prescription
Click "New Prescription" from your dashboard. You can: - Upload a signed prescription document (PDF, image) - Use a saved prescription template for recurring orders - Specify patient information, medication details, and delivery preferences
Step 5: Create Prescription Templates
For medications you prescribe frequently, create reusable templates: 1. Navigate to "Templates" in your dashboard 2. Click "Create Template" 3. Enter the medication name, dosage, form, and any special instructions 4. Save the template for quick future use
Step 6: Track Orders
Monitor the status of every prescription from submission through delivery. Each order progresses through clear stages: Submitted, In Review, Approved, Processing, Filled, Shipped, and Completed.
Step 7: Access Wholesale Pricing
Providers benefit from competitive pricing tiers. If your practice is associated with a Healthville partner clinic, you may have access to special clinic pricing on select medications.
