Used for hypothyroidism, especially when T4-only therapy is insufficient.
Dosage, Concentration & Route
Typical 5–25 mcg once or twice daily orally.
Side Effects
Palpitations, increased heart rate, sweating if overdosed. Monitor TSH/T3.
